COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
One thing we at 3HB like as much as great beer is amazing music. In Rochester, no one owns their instruments like the Moho Collective. They combine many flavors into a multidimensional experience like we have with this smokey and roasty offering. Kurt, Ryan and Justin, we drop this bomb of love for you. Thank you.

(bottle - 22 oz) Dark brown pour with a tan head. Very lightly smoked aroma with a nice bitter coffee roast. Roasted malts at the start of the taste with that light smoke coming up near the finish. Bitter aftertaste with a kiss of smoked malts. Not overpowering. A bit thin though.

Love this brewery, but was not blown away with this smoked porter. A great beer to have around, but is lacking in the ’special’ category.

Bottle. Pours black with a lacy, tan head. Aroma strong of smoked and roasted malts with some chocolate and coffee. Flavor the same with a smoky maltiness. Smooth and thick texture. Thanks from the trade JB.

Draft at The Distillery. Nose is slightly smokey with some merat and campfire notes, but is mostly chocolate. Pours a medium brown color with light brown head. Taste is only lightly smokey at best. Lots of chocolate and light roast with solid malt backbone. Just lacks smoke. Otherwise good.

Anise and raisins in the aroma. Deep opaque black color with a minimal, light tan head. Very timid smoke flavor that doesn't overpower it. Otherwise a pleasantly roasty porter with a light body. I like it but it's not particularly remarkable.

Bombers from Wegmans and Whole Foods and Capone’s. Pours hazy dark blackish with minimla khaki head. Nose is roasty black and choc malts, rauch, hops. Tastes roasty dark malty, with a subdued and smooth smokiness, some hops, molasses, cacao, and a schwarzbier-like finish. Solid.

Location: Sampled at TapNY, 4/26/14, My 100th Porter Rating!

Aroma: The aroma has a nice smokey wood presence, some dark malts, roast, and toast
Appearance: This one pours a dark brown-black color with a beige-brown head
Flavor: The flavor is much the same, rich malts, with some nice roast/chocolate and smoke
Palate: This one has a medium body, a smooth, creamy feel, and a clean, smokey finish
Overall Impression: I found this to be a pretty tasty one. This is another nice offering from Three Heads. The smoke blends well with the rest of the beer’s components.

Roasted and toasted notes waft out, with a sharp smokey smell. Dark chocolate in there too. Dark pour with orange highlights, thick tan head. Smooth mouthfeel, the tastes reflect the smells. Nice body, very well put together porter. It’s to the point I have to rush right out and buy whatever the Three Heads put out. This one may make it into the regular rotation along with * Kind.
