COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
East coast vs west coast...a battle that has been waged for years in many forms. Now there arises a brew that strives to unite the two sides. This IPA bursts with an inviting hop aroma in conjunction with a carefully selected monastic yeast strain. It delivers unexpected, yet delectable flavor. Case closed?

Bottle. Banana-orange, clove, and wheat malt? aroma. Clear pale amber with a large white head. Sweet orange, clover and herbal hops flavor. Medium body, soft carbonation. Rather strange IPA

Bottle. Orange pulp, banana, clove and malt aroma. Hazy pale yellow with moderate head. Sweet orange, banana, and malt. Mildly bitter clove and orange peel finish. More wheat characteristics than IPA.

22oz bottle. Golden color with a big, foamy white head. Hoppy, but smooth. Bitter, punchy, with a light malt and yeasty base. Nice IPA.

Bomber. Honey golden with just a bit of haze. A big white fluffy head lasts. An aroma of big citrus hops. Those citrus hops are also big and biting in the flavor. Pepper notes with some lemon, tropical fruit and grapefruit. Spice and yeast. Caramel malts are way behind in the balance. Pretty good IPA, especially for those who like citrus hops.

Draft from habitat. Orangey pour white head. Kind of a nonthreatening IPA not as harsh as some. OK.

This is one of the most interesting IPAs I can find. Its a mix of a west coast and east coast IPA apparently. Unique taste to it, you get a lot of flavor.

Sampled at TWCP Beer Fest 2013. It poured a hazy yellow/golden color with a white head. The aroma was of lemony citrus hops. The taste was bright and heavily focused on the citric hops. Not bad.

Draft at The Strand Smokehouse in Queens. Sweet belgian tripel yeast, clean medium clear orange. Crisp IPA with clean belgian, fruity yeast flavors. Hot alc note, drying odd body. Pretty nice for style.

Keg comes into the bar and I have no clue about the brewery. Does Ontario mean its Canadian? No, brewed in New York. Frothy head, mgolden bodied IPA. Above average Belgian influenced India Pale Ale.

Location: 22 oz bottle from Buy Rite, 3/14/13

Aroma: The nose has lots of citrus rind, some clove, pepper, floral notes, and a bit if grass
Appearance: It pours a clear golden color with a small white head and some drippy lace
Flavor: The taste has lots citrus rind hop bitterness, some spice, and a light malty sweetness
Palate: The body is medium, it feels fairly crisp, has a pretty fizzy carbonation, and a fairly dry finish
Overall Impression: This isn’t a top notch IPA, but it is plenty drinkable. I like this beer well enough, but I didn’t enjoy it as much as the other Three Heads IPA (The Kind), Like I said, this beer is plenty fine, but if you are only going to get one Three Heads IPA, and for some reason you are reading my review for a recommendation, I’d recommend the other one.
