2.5 AROMA 4/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 10/20
Uninteresting IPA. Some bitterness, not bad, but nothing special as an IPA. Yellow coloured body, a little lace. Slightly odd aroma. Not that drinkable. Average mouthfeel, suitable carbonation.

3.3 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20
Bombers from Capone’s and Wegman’s. Pours clear dark straw with 1-finger splotchy white head that laces fairly well. Nose is funky yeasty rock sugary malt, mango, citrus, hops. Tastes funky, yeasty, with mid-palate dry florals, hopcitrus, Gets a mild semi-metallic taste as it warms. Decent, but not as good as some of the prior efforts from these guys.

3.6 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 14/20

Bottle in the campground at BCTC. Pours a hazed orange amber with a thin white head. Spicy floral notes with musk and yeast. Floral hops on the nose. Sweet, musky and toasty. Citrus and toast, finishing up with more musky yeast notes. Nice.

2.9 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 11/20
Bottle. Pours light-ish gold with a big white head. Plain pale malts, faint sweetness, light earthy and floral hops, low bitterness, faint mineral-like notes, and a hint of odd spicy yeast. Not bad, I guess, but not a good IPA.

3.2 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 13/20
Super hazy golden coloured body with a bit of a honey glow and a thick, dense soapy tan head. Aroma of very nice pale and grassy hop notes, some yeast and light coriander seed spiciness. Medium-bodied; Grassy, herbal hoppy flavour at first with some yeast and malt behind and very little in complexity. Aftertaste shows mostly hoppy notes with some unfinished wort type flavours and a little alcohol dryness near the end. Overall, an okay beer - about what I’d expect from Custom Brewcrafter beers and about right from Rochester. I sampled this 65 cL bottle purchased from Oliver’s Beverage in Albany, New York on 18-November-2011 for US$6.99 sampled at home in Washington on 23-December-2011.

3.5 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 15/20
Bomber. Honey golden with just a bit of haze. A big white fluffy head lasts. An aroma of big citrus hops. Those citrus hops are also big and biting in the flavor. Pepper notes with some lemon, tropical fruit and grapefruit. Spice and yeast. Caramel malts are way behind in the balance. Pretty good IPA, especially for those who like citrus hops.
