Voraciously hoppy and not overly bitter. The Kind brings enormous aroma and maximum flavor. It’s like taking a walk through a pine forest and ending up at a citrus farm. This beer brings joy to the world, one sip at a time.

Poured a whole bunch of head...but it is from Three Heads, so I guess it was to be expected...overall not bad at all. I could drink this again for sure.

Pour from a 24 oz bottle. Clear yellow brew with white head - nuthin wrong with that. BIG hops aroma, citrus and pine, Taste is very light malts at the start, but malt there is, and then moderate citrus, grapefruit, juniper hops. Good but kind of falls short of the expectation set by the aroma. Palate is rather thin. Fine brew and super tasty - hard to be a standout in this day.

Presentation: It was poured from a brown 1pt. 6oz bottle into a tulip glass. The label lists the ABV at 6.8% and the IBUs at 76. It also has a nice commercial or brewer’s description of the beer. Appearance: The body has a lightly hazy with a honey amber color. The pour produced a small creamy off white head. As it slowly fades and sides down the glass as I drink, it leaves thick sticky lacing on the glass. Smell: It has lots of sweet juicy citrus hops with fruity notes of peach and apricots mixed with honey over white bread. Taste/Palate: There is a thin light bready malt base which showcases the big fruity hops. The hops bring lovely lemon and grapefruit citrus notes with lighter notes of peaches and apricots. The bitterness slowly builds up to the finish which brings out the piney notes of the hops. A firm but not overpowering bitterness lingers nicely on the tongue. The palate feels just a bit light but not watery and the carbonation is smooth. Notes: This IPA has a defiant West Coast vibe. It’s all about the hops and the hops are about citrus and fruit with a twist of pine.

I have to remember this is an IPA, and not an IIPA. reasonably malty and nicely balanced, not overly aggressive with hops. not bad.

Pine, grass, bitter hops, citrus zest. Light finish, but punchy and fairly crisp. Smooth and a good IPA overall.

Bottle. Pours a hazy orangey gold color with a moderate frothy white head on it. Nose is strongly hoppy and filled with grapefruit and citrus notes. Taste is fairly bitter with the same grapefruit tones coming through, yet manages to be extremely smooth. Very good IPA.

355 mL bottle. Nice looking beer - golden with a bright white head. Mild citrus in the nose. The flavour, while not exactly living up to the ambitious commercial description, does have elements of both resin and citrus. Nice, drinkable IPA.

Lighter IPA. Out of the keg, it has a lighter look and aroma. Nice kick, relatively smooth aftertaste. Good hoppy finish. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

pours hazy light yellow with a decent creamy white head, some retention and lacing. citrus, some green dankness, bit of pineapple and tropicalness, almost clean malts - some spicy malts, bit of pepper, wheat and rye. moderate carbonation, light body, nice citrusy and relatively balanced finish. enjoyable!

Bottle. Pours a clear gold body with a nice frothy bright white head that had very good retention. The nose is a little light for the style, just a touch of citrusy hops over a dry almost crackery malt base. The flavor is thankfully a lot more bright and citrusy than the aroma led on. Still not the all-out hop bomb some folks may be looking for, but I find it pretty nice and give it some kudos for being delicate and subtle. The bitterness on the flavor doesn’t exactly scream IPA to me either, it’s pretty minimal, it has more of a floral and subtle character to it. The malt base is perfectly dry and light, letting what hops there are in here shine pretty well. Nice dry and lightly bitter finish. Light bodied and very easy drinking with soft fizzy carbonation. Pretty decent beer, but it really doesn’t cross that threshold in my mind where it’s clear this is an IPA versus an APA. It’s so light on the palate that I would have never guessed it was 6.8% ABV either.
