COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Voraciously hoppy and not overly bitter. The Kind brings enormous aroma and maximum flavor. It’s like taking a walk through a pine forest and ending up at a citrus farm. This beer brings joy to the world, one sip at a time.

On tap @ Tap and Mallet - Best IPA of all the local Rochester area beers we sampled. Hazy gold pour with small to medium white firm head. Big fresh hop aromas, lots of citrus peel and thick floral characteristics. Aggressive fresh hop flavor with good bitterness to balance the piney grapefruit flavors. Would definitely look for this one when in the Rochester ares.

Albany, Ga. - Warehouse Package Store - 12 oz bottle. Slightly murky, yet sparkling at the same time medium golden with a very thin off-white head. Aroma has some nice spruce accents, some perfume. Flavor has a nice solid bitterness to it with some requisite grapefruit notes. a touch of apricot sweetness, a touch of maple syrup stickiness. Mouthfeel has a decent thickness to it. Quite solid.

On draft in Rochester. Pours clear bright orange. No head. Nose is dank, hops. Flavor is nutty, malty, very light citrus. Bitter finish. Not great.

Bottle to glass. Pours a clear copper color, little head. Aroma is piney with slight citrus notes and bready / caramel malt backbone. Taste is piney hops, honey sweetness from malts with medium bitterness. Palate is lightly carbonated, light body. Bitterness fades fast. Ok.

Bottle from Lazy Dog. Pours a beautiful transparent gold with a ring of off white head. Aroma of citrus with a malty undercurrent stowaway. Taste is mild at first, with more citrus and floral, but the bitterness lingers after.

Tap. Nice citrus and pine aroma, with a malty backbone. Nice IPA, not too complex or bold, malt backbone makes it come across a bit like an english pale ale. Good.

22oz bomber of infected beer from Spirits Manahawkin. The bottle opened fine but upon pouring it into my Carton teku glass I got about an ounce of liquid anda glass of foamy off white head. Upon several minutes of waiting a nice looking thick bright orange body emeged. Aroma was old band aids, medicine, lots of apricots. The palate was bad, a medium body overpowered by super fizzy carbonation. Flavor was dreadful. Medicine, cardboard and a hint of fruit. Well thats $8.00 down the drain, literally.

I am not a fan of IPA’s or APA’s but this one is something special. The hop bitterness is balanced in the mid-palate by a touch of warm sweetness that rounds out the flavor and makes this the best hoppy beer I’ve had.

Pour is a cloudy yellow with a huge white head. Aroma is nice and hoppy with some sweet honey malt. Flavor is again decently hopped with a little sweetness toward the end. Adequate IPA.

Poured a monster head... took a very long time to fill a glass, each second of pouring was an eruption smell of pine, resin hops with a suttle citrus rhind bitterness. taste was similar to smell only more piney bitterness than citrus
