Voraciously hoppy and not overly bitter. The Kind brings enormous aroma and maximum flavor. It’s like taking a walk through a pine forest and ending up at a citrus farm. This beer brings joy to the world, one sip at a time.

From a 1 pt, 6 oz bomber, poured into a dimple mug. The honey-colored pour was topped with a persistent off-white head. The aroma is coniferous and piney with a touch of sweet malt. The nicely balanced liquor featured a sweet, floral hop attack with perhaps a hint of biscuit in the background. The finish was lingering and nicely bitter without being overwhelmingly so. A nicely done, solid IPA. Bought at the Village Beer Merchant in Buffalo, NY (I tried to add this but RateBeer’s availability tool is malfunctioning).

Pours a clear golden yellow. Aroma is citrus fruits, pine, and some Belgian yeast. Taste is some light grapefruit, pine, and a little of that yeast, which I found odd. Maybe it was just my taste being off? Not a bad beer.

Pours hazy golden yellow with white head. Smell is pine, citrus, and resin. Taste is hoppy but balanced by malt. Notes of resin and citrus. Smooth mouth feel. Medium body and medium carbonation.

Pour out of 22 oz bottle, very hazy orange pour with white head, aroma brought notes of biscuit, bread, yeast, some slight white fruit into orange, touch of grapefruit, nice grassy notes as well. Taste was a mix of grass, orange, grapefruit, some bready, yeasty notes into some spicy, earthy notes, finishing bitter, dry. Nicely made.

I bought this at a Wegman’s grocery store when visiting a friend in Rochester. I poured it into a goblet at home. Overall, this is a pretty good IPA. It’s not great. It poured mostly clear with a nice head. In terms of aroma, one is struck by the grassy hops and this carries over to the taste. This is a balanced beer. While the IBUs are 76, it doesn’t taste as bitter as I expected. That said, the sweetness is on the light side. It has medium body and a bitter finish. This is worth trying if you are in Rochester (the brewer is out of the greater Rochester area).

bottle @ Habersham Beverage / Savannah GA --- Clear medium amber with a 3" white head that slowly drops to a thick cover, mottled curtain of lace. Taste is caramel malt that moves through the palate, adding a strong burst of pine hops that recede quickly, leavin g semi-sweet citrus in a long finish. Fantastic brew with great balance, and complexity. Not at all overwhelming, but a really solid tasty brew.

Average IPA at best. Seemed "watered down". Bought a 4 pack. Looks like the other 3 will be lawn mower beer. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone
