Bottle.
Dark brown with a medium slightly tan head. Malty aroma with caramel and some fruit. The taste was sweet with caramel, fruit and malt. The mouth feel was on the thin side. Drinkable but not that interesting to be honest.
2.1 AROMA 4/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 4/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 7/20 FatPhil (6201) - Tallinn, ESTONIA - APR 3, 2012
500ml bottle (Black Door, Helsinki)
3 word review: Liquid, sweet, black
Pretty messed up aroma, I got a sharp peak reminiscent of vinegar, but dominated by treacly caramel. Slick palate. Caramelly taste, yeugh, this is horribly under-attenuated. But if it were well attenuated, it would be horrifically boozy. Burntness in the finish too, and slick slick sugars, yeugh again. Sorry Matti!
2.5 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 8/20 mjs (2985) - Helsinki, FINLAND - APR 3, 2012
(Bottle at Black Door, 20120402) The beer poured dark brown and clear. Its head was medium sized and white. Aroma was quite messy; I could find molasses, malts and caramell. Palate was medium bodied with medium carbonation. The taste was messy, too: burned malts, caramell, sweetness and bitterness. Aftertaste was sweet, ashy and bitter. Quite bad but no flaws and pretty good looking.
