OleR (4786) - Oslo, NORWAY - MAY 17, 2008
Can. A firm white one-finger head upon a plain pilsener-golden body. Earthy and grassy hops with some cardboard notes in the aroma. A scent of fairly dry pale malts. Not very flavorful; crisp, medium sweet buttery malts, alcohol, and a light hopbitterness. Mouthfeel is lively, but lacks freshness. Ends up with some fruity notes and a mild bitterness. Approved.

Bottle from the cave. Aroma is sweet pale lager malts, peppery alcohol, herbal grassy bitterness. Taste is relitivly balanced and soft carbonation leads to easy drinking if unexciting.

Maria (10129) - Thisted, DENMARK - MAR 1, 2008
Nice golden, slightly hazy with an OK head. The aroma has sweetness and notes of malt and metal. The flavour has sweetness, notes of malt, caramel, alcohol, hints of grass and a dry finish almost without any bitterness.

ekstedt (5355) - Göteborg, SWEDEN - OCT 10, 2007
Can (50 cl) from Systembolaget. Deep golden with a medium fluffy white head. Clean grainy malt aroma, hayish sweet a bit, some butterscorth an grassy hops as well. Alcohol is there but quite well integrated. Smooth mouthfeel, okay balance with some bitterness. On e of the best (or least bad rather) swedish strong pale lagers out there.

SilkTork (5179) - Rochester, Kent, United Kingdom, Kent, ENGLAND - AUG 13, 2007
330ml bottle from BeersOfEurope. A pleasant and clean strong lager. No off flavours, even when warming up - though it did become a little grainy, though not in an ugly way - just adding a bit of character. Soft, fragrant hops enhanced the malt. Good firm body without becoming sticky. Alcohol was warm and pleasant without being aggressive. Mineral notes mixed with floral qualities. An attractive and enjoyable strong lager. Surprising.

Bottle from the Dodgy Deli, Cowley Road, Oxford Poured golden with white head. Aroma fruity and malty, tasted quite fierce initially but softened bit waxy? Some fruitiness and malts but alcohol always there.
