SilkTork (5275) - Rochester, Kent, United Kingdom, Kent, ENGLAND - AUG 13, 2007
330ml bottle from BeersOfEurope. A pleasant and clean strong lager. No off flavours, even when warming up - though it did become a little grainy, though not in an ugly way - just adding a bit of character. Soft, fragrant hops enhanced the malt. Good firm body without becoming sticky. Alcohol was warm and pleasant without being aggressive. Mineral notes mixed with floral qualities. An attractive and enjoyable strong lager. Surprising.

(33 cl bottle from Systembolaget) Clear golden color, medium size white head. Acidic, grainy and floral scent under a blanket of alcohol. Dominating alcohol taste over a fat malty foundation. Very sweet and oliy. Medium mouthfeel, low bitterness.

Pale golden, quite nice but quickly disappearing white head. Malty, grainy aroma with fruity notes. Sweet malty flavor with some alcohol cominbg through. Alcohol then strikes you in the finish.

Pours pale golden with a small white head. Weak aroma of alcohol and malt adjuncts. Flavours of corn and alcohol. Its not as rough as it sounds but is by no means good.
