2 AROMA 3/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 4/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 7/20
UPDATED: JUN 20, 2009 Can. Pale golden with a white head. Malty and fruity aroma. The flavor is malty and grainy, with some floral hoppiness. Medium body with some sticky sweetness. Dry finish. Rating: 3-2-3-3-7-1.8. (060720)
Can. It pours a clear, slightly pale golden body under a two-finger white head. Sweetish, grainy and fruity nose with alcohol quite evident. Sweet, grainy and quite fruity flavor with alcohol and a grassy, resiny hoppy bitterness. Full-bodied with some alcohol warmth. Quite long finish with a nice bitterness and a not so nice alcohol flavor. Sure drinkable, but I guess it’s mostly used to get drunk fast. Definately not a beer to enjoy as a sipper. (090620)

Bottle. No flavour and too much alcohol. Sweet, with an alcohol burn. I can’t really say too much else about it..

Pale golden, frothy head - as usual. Sour maize nose and sweetish from the use of sugar. Flavour is a marriage between maize and sugar that went totally wrong.

1.6 AROMA 3/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 3/10 PALATE 1/5 OVERALL 7/20
(Bottle 33 cl) Pale golden with a white head. Usually in a beer this strong you would expect a fair deal of residual sweetness, but that’s completely absent here. On the contrary this comes with an extreme dryness combined with a crude, harsh bitterness. Jesus, this is unpleasant. 100700

1.9 AROMA 3/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 3/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 7/20
(Canned) Paleish golden color with a medium, bright white, vanishing head and some lace. Mild, sweet-honeyish, a bit stuffy and metallic aroma. Quite bitter and sourish, grassy and somewhat alcoholic flavor. Medium-bodied, (not unbearably) alcoholic palate with balanced carbonation. Not that bad for a strong lager. Hides the ABV reasonably without being cloyingly sweet, and the body is not too thin.

Golden colored, foamy snow white head. Rancid aroma of hop and flower and unripe malt. Rancid and dry flavor, not good, just as expected!
