Three Needs Bamberg Rauchbier

On tap at the pub. Why this smoke-filled pub hasn’t had a smoked beer before now, I’ll never know. Decent, very sweet and full-bodied version of the style, with hops only distinguishable at the front when its cold. As it warms, becomes a bit sticky and sweet; when slightly cold, a decent oaky smokiness emerges on the nose, a fairly rich amount in the taste, with heavy caramel malt and a bit fo dried fruit. Not bad.
