COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
This Pilsner has a fantastic malty aroma with a slight spice from the hops.  The head is brilliant white.  It has a malty sweetness that is followed by a long dry super crisp finish. The Pils is lagered (aged) for a minimum of 8-12 weeks to ensure smoothness and drink ability.

Reviewed from notes. The appearance was a clear yellowish straw colored body with a large two to three white foamy head. The lacing is foamy, white and thick. The smell has some some corn, and some lemon, but not exactly going together in a good way. The taste was kinda tart, but also slightly sweet, weird sour lemon aftertaste. On the palate, its about a light and comes across slightly sessionable. Carbonation is decent for a German Pilsener and not bad to me. Overall, there’s a part of me that wants to say this is might be expired, but there’s no bottling date, so I guess this will stand until further notice. I really don’t think I’d have this again if this is meant to smell and taste like this. I don’t like to drainpour beers, but this definitely came close to it.

Bottle:   Pale straw, very clear, minor sudsy white head, no lacing.   Soft fruity straw/grass on the nose.   Seems fairly bright, and more aromatic than most in that it has a touch of this berry or other fruity aspect.   Bright straw/hay on the tongue, not mealy, somewhat sweet, with a little fruity flair.   Seems fairly crisp, bright, and with character.   Not your usual bland straw/hay Pilsner variety.   I am liking this more than I thought I would.   Like their Blood Orange Wit, I get some very mild cidery sort of flavor.   Body and mouthfeel are moderate.   Slightly dry on the backside, remains crisp and a little fruity.   I really was expecting a ho-hum beer, but I was very surprised.   Nicely done!

pours a clear yellow-orange with a medium size white head. smell is of grain, corn, and a little citrus. tastes as it smells, grain, corn, and a little citrus, with a little bit of malt in the back. ends grainy. looks better than it tastes.

Pint @ Pillager’s Pub. Pleasant surprise. Quite dry and crisp. Pours out straight up yellow. Probably one of the better beers I’ve had from here.

From tap at Taphouse Grill. Pours clear and golden yellow with a small white head. Aroma is grassy and light cornish. Sweet caramelish and light toasted malty. Bitter and dry into the finish.

Loving me some yellow beard!!! Light, crisp and refreshing. I am attracted to bright, crisp beers... A bit of spice and a touch of sweetness make this a brilliant brew...
