COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Merriment is a hallmark of the holiday season, seasoning our greetings and our gathering. Feest Noel is merriment in a glass- a spiced Christmas ale meant to evoke joy and mystery. This Belgian-style strong dark uses dark roasted malts, imported Belgian dark candy sugar, and spiced accents of cardamom, allspice and cloves.

Another stellar offering from these guys. Three Taverns is the best thing to happen to the Atlanta beer scene in quite a while. This winter warmer is no exception. On tap at (several little beer sanctuaries in Atlanta) tonight , Summits Wayside Tavern. Wonderful cardamom and allspice on the nose. Smells of malty sweetness. Really nice, Belgian Strong. In my mind exactly what a winter seasonal should be. Really heavy flavore of the same spices. The roasted malts with Belgian candy sugar makes for an exceptional beer. One that I will continue to imbibe so long as its around. Apparently pretty heavy on the alcohol as well as my head swims Halfway through my second. Cheers

Pours dark brown with tan head. Aroma is heavily spiced with cinnamon and cloves and gingerbread. Tastes like a beer version of Glogg. Very festive. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Draft at Trappeze. Pours ruby brown with a creamy off white head. Smells like sweet cherries, spice, floral, light yeast. Tastes like sour cherries, dry spice, light yeast, and roasted malt. Light/medium body and low carbonation.

Dark reddish brown with a thick off white head. Fruity aroma with a hint of spice, maybe cinnamon. Flavor is dark fruit with winter spices. Cinnamon and nutmeg are noticeable. Wife: 3.8

Pours a deep copper brown from the bottle with nice ring of cream colored head. Aroma is big spice, cinnamon, nutmeg, and all spice, over dark fruits. Taste is nice spice over a good quad. Pretty nice holiday beer.

The spice aroma comes through with the flavor of the quad. A very deceptive beer for the Christmas season and great around an outdoor fire.

Bready, caramel, cinnamon, all spice, some christmas pie spice throughout. Medium to dark amber with minimal head. Spice is prominent but not overwhelming. Roast, medium high sweet. Nice.

Sample at the Porter. Pours black, with a thick, tan head. The nose is caramelized sugar, ginger, allspice, light coffee, milk chocolate, and figs. The malt base is lovely, and the spicing is subtle and blends nicely. Very sweet flavor, with a pretty good, very subdued, balancing bitterness. Very heavy body. Thick, creamy, with a little lively, sharp finish. Overall, this is an excellent quad; great complexity and depth; sweet, but not cloying; and surprisingly approachable.

Bottle. This is a nice big bready quad with a strong resemblance to well spiced french toast n liquid form. The brew hovers right on the precipice of spice cabinet overkill without falling in...but just barely.

Tap from Lazy Dog. Pours dark opaque amber with slight tan head. Aroma of spices and yeast. Taste of Christmas spices, like cinnamon and nutmeg, and bready yeast.
