COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Merriment is a hallmark of the holiday season, seasoning our greetings and our gathering. Feest Noel is merriment in a glass- a spiced Christmas ale meant to evoke joy and mystery. This Belgian-style strong dark uses dark roasted malts, imported Belgian dark candy sugar, and spiced accents of cardamom, allspice and cloves.

Another stellar offering from these guys. Three Taverns is the best thing to happen to the Atlanta beer scene in quite a while. This winter warmer is no exception. On tap at (several little beer sanctuaries in Atlanta) tonight , Summits Wayside Tavern. Wonderful cardamom and allspice on the nose. Smells of malty sweetness. Really nice, Belgian Strong. In my mind exactly what a winter seasonal should be. Really heavy flavore of the same spices. The roasted malts with Belgian candy sugar makes for an exceptional beer. One that I will continue to imbibe so long as its around. Apparently pretty heavy on the alcohol as well as my head swims Halfway through my second. Cheers

Tap from Lazy Dog. Pours dark opaque amber with slight tan head. Aroma of spices and yeast. Taste of Christmas spices, like cinnamon and nutmeg, and bready yeast.

Black. Fleeting head. Cola spicing with ginger, but thatís not listed in the description so maybe Iím mistaking it for one of the other spices. This is definitely a spiced beer and the spicing is definitely the dominant quality of both the aroma and flavor, but it doesnít have that overspiced bitterness/astringency some spiced beer get.

12/9/13. On tap at the Sweet Grass Cheese Shop. Dark brown pour with an okay tan head. Malty aroma, caramel, malty, mild Christmas spice. Malty flavor, caramel, bread, hints at Belgian yeast, mild Fall spices. Not bad.

Draft at Sweet Grass. Pretty much black pour with a frothy tan head that leaves thick lace. Aroma of ginger spices, fig newtons, brown sugar, toffee with hints if cinnamon and faint chocolate. Flavor is much the same and heavy on the spices. Medium bodied and mild carbonation. Not bad.

I am always very tentative about ordering Christmas beers. This delicious beer allayed those concerns. Pours a deep brown with minimal tan head. Scent is a touch of spice, booze, and a feint little citrus. This beer is spiced with flavor balance. I didnít feel like I had accidentally ingested a cinnamon stick. Light-heavy body with light-medium carbonation. Much better than expected. Will order again. Draft - Argosy - Atlanta

Comes out of the tap an opaque coffee brown with a thin light tan head, but the thin head must be from how it was poured. Rich aroma fills the nose with caramel, molasses, even a whiff for horehound. Flavor echoes all the delights of the aroma and adds a hint of peppermint and a touch of licorice. Mouthfeel is thick and firm, almost syrupy, and quite fizzy. Fairly sweet, but not cloying, with a malty hint. Merry whatever you celebrate this time of year!

Draft to taster. Looks good; a semi-transparent brown with off-white lacing. Smells of Belgian yeast and spices. Tastes like it smells, only less balanced. Average on the palate. Eh.
