3.7 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20
Bottle from Village Wine and Spirits in Athens. Big Citra nose with orange/lemon blossoms. Very pale straw, fluffy white head, clumpy lace. Citra hops certainly dominate the initial / very light spicing in mid with pleasant fruitiness (peaches with grapefruit rind) / smooth, light finish with a lingering hop note. Thin body. Tasty stuff. I’d never heard of this brewery. Picked up bottle in the single section of Village W & S. Glad I did. I know they call it an IPA, but it really is much closer to a Wit or a Wheat Ale.

Decatur, Ga - Raging Burrito - on tap. Hazy light gold pour, snow white head, slight lacing. Citrusy aroma with some light spruce notes. Crisp citrus flavor, some lemon notes, a touch of coriander, cake mix and a minty finish, Mouthfeel is nice and creamy. Good accompaniment to my blackened Talipia burrito.

3.6 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 15/20
This beer is very different and distinct, pours fizzy yellow with a white head, smells very fruity along with some citrus. Taste is a bit sweet at first then goes onto a slight hoppyness, not too much, great balance in the beer.

3.3 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 5/5 OVERALL 14/20
Bottle from Columbus Beverage in Columbus, GA. Pours a cloudy, pale yellow color. White head. Aroma is spicy, yeasty with some citrus presence. Doesn’t really smell like an IPA at all, even compared to other "white IPAs" Ive had. Unique aroma. Taste is dough, banana, spices and citrus. Very slight hop bitterness. Palate is highly carbonated. Champagne-esque. Overall a good drinkable beer, but I don’t see the IPA or hop focus. I would buy this and drink it again, but this reminds me more of a Belgian wit beer rather than an IPA. I’m excited to continue to try more of the 3 Taverns offerings as they come out.

3.4 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20
Cloudy white f r om tap. Nice big white head. Lemony ans spicy aroma. A white ipa but more of a wit character than ipa. A pretty large amt of spice and peel. Wit yeast I assume.

3.9 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 16/20
Pours a very hazed dull golden with a white head and some lacing. Smell is big fruity esters, citrus, Citra yum. Taste is big citrus, hints of tropical and floral, yeasty esters. Bitterness and a bit of spice kick backs up everything. Not that I would have known it was in there without reading the label, but there does seem be an extra citrus pop with the added grapefruit peel. Medium body with medium bitterness. Probably the best white ipa I have had to date. Just when I was thinking this sytle needed to go by the way side…..

3.8 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 17/20
Clear golden color with a thin white head. Aroma is mild hops with a bit of mild spices. Notes of clove especially. Flavor is light and crisp with some mild citrus hops and light spice. Grapefruit peel is noticeable and it finishes a little dry.

4.2 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 18/20
This beer is battling with Jekyll for best IPA in Georgia, and I think it is winning. Perfect just hazy pear color with lasting white head. Citrus all over the nose. Belgian yeast shines through in the flavor making an unbelievably delicious beer. This may be the best beer made in Georgia, and I have drank many of ’em. Draft - Brick Store Pub - Decatur, GA
