On cask at the Three Tuns, Bishops Castle. Rich toasty aroma, with a fairly thick consistent head for a mild. Nice chocolate hints but low bitterness and not too thin. A very nice traditional mild.

On cask at The Huntsman, Cheadle. Pours dark brown with tan head. Caramel, spice and light chocolate. Plenty going on in this low ABV mild. A cracker.

Cask at the Craven Arms, Birmingham. Poured a dark brown colour with a reddish hue and an off-white head. The aroma is dry malt leading to a weak bitter flavour with loads of roasted malt and a gorgeous smooth palate with a malty finish. A classic session mild from the UK’s oldest brewery.
