Vom Faß in der Nürnberger Alm (11.4.2015). - Etwas dunkleres Orangerot, nicht eigentlich „dunkel“; leicht trüb, reichlich lockerer Schaum. - Duftet warm karamelmalzig.

bottle, bought to take away from salon regina. sluggy brown with a thin but lasting head; burnt caramel in the aroma; some woody sourness mainly compensated for by some caramel sweetness and lightly grassy hops

3fourths (8878) - Boulder, Colorado, USA - NOV 21, 2012
draft at Nürnberger Alm.
lightly hazed chestnut brown body with a medium-sized off-white head. toasted dark malt, bread crust, cereal grains and baked cracker malt nose with a light touch of chocolate and noticeable diacetyl butteriness. sourish dark malt flavor with notes of cast-iron-skillet-burnt butter. light body, soft carbonation but with a noticeably sour / yogurt / sour cream character. not in the best shape, I fear.
