Draft at brewpub. Pours black with a thin nitro head that leaves some lacing. Not much going on on the nose. Slight coffee vibe on the tongue. Meh!

(Draught) Pours an opaque black body with a medium brown head. Aroma of roasted malt, chocolate, molasses, caramel, and cola. Flavor of roasted malt, chocolate, and coffee.

On tap at the brewpub (nitro pour). Pours black with a thick tan head. Aroma of sweet malt and roasted malt. Flavor is dry, smooth, with bitter chocolate and light roast. On the bland side but drinkable.

Black pour with tan head and lace. Toasted malt and chocolate aroma. Sweet chocolate malt, light coffee, and a nice malt bitter. Thin and watery almost like a cask ale offering.

On tap at TCB, pour is a nice black.. but being a NE Ohioian I pit this against GLBC BOStout, and this is a poor representation of the name... while not terrible it possesses everything a solid stout should.. its just not outstanding like its counterpart.

on hand pump-pours a foamy light tan head and black color. Aroma is dark malt-roasty, dry, molasses, perfumy. Taste is dark malt-roasty, dry, molasses, perfumy, earthy hops bite.

[Tap] Pours a very dark brown color with a small tan head. Roasted cocoa and charred malts in the aroma. Chocolate, vanilla, thin lactose and sweet oat notes in the taste. Sweet, with a lingering roasted finish. Good mouthfeel/body. Nice and sessionable.

Black pour, tan head. Faint coffee, chocolate, toasted malt aroma. Flavor is char, molasses, light chcolate and some coffee.

Appearance: Dark brown with a nice sized beige head and good lacing
Aroma: Roasted malts and ashy
Taste: Roasted malts, grainy, ashy and coffee
A nice stout.

on tap at the brewery(18Jan11)pours black with a medium tan head. Aroma is cocoa nibs, thin coffee and moderate roast. Flavor is creamy oat, roasted malts, burnt sugar and thin coffee.
