COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
The Granddaddy of Pale Ales, this style got its start as a special brew for English soldiers living in India. Our IPA is a medium bodied ale, with a light copper color characterized by an intense hop flavor, with a full flowery hop aroma and high alcohol content.

Draft - Orange citrus malts with a caramel backbone. Cooper with a decent white head. Pine and resin with a sweet malt backbone. Light orange and spices are also present. Decent and well balanced IPA.

An orange amber ipa with a thin lacing off white head. In aroma, biscuit malt over classic smooth floral hops, grapefruit notes, nice. In mouth, a nice biscuit malt with smooth floral hops, grapefruit pulp, very classic and quaffable. On tap at Broadway location.

Draft at brewpub. Pours orange with a thin white head. Nice line note on the nose. Tastes of the proverbial pine cine dipped in sugar. (maybe its only a proverb in my head.) nice bitter one the finish. Solid.

UPDATED: JUN 21, 2012 On tap at BJs in Tucson, AZ.. Nice floral hop and biscuit malt aromas. Clear medium amber with a white head. Initially very floral hop taste (which I think was accentuated by the spicy shrimp I had right before it), then followed with a pine and citrusy bitterness. Really good deep caramel malt balance with a bit of molasses behind it. Finishes with an earthy bitterness and residual candy sweetness. Very unique and tasty IPA.

On draught at Thunder Canyon. Pours a clear copper color with a thin eggshell head. Darker than I like my IPAs. Taste is sweet caramel malts and bitter citrusy hops. Thin bodied. Ok.

Thanks to Maltajo for driving me to the brewpub! Cask pour with extra dry hops. Pours a hazy gold pour with a thick creamy head. Big resiny citrus pine hops aroma, super fresh. Pungent citrus pine hop combo in the taste, with a thick creamy malt body. Awesome treat!

[Tap] Pours a dirty shade of gold. Has a nice white cap. Nose is of heavy floral hops. Decent caramel malt backbone and average levels of hoppiness for an IPA. Light pine/spruce finish. Nice body and mouthfeel. One of the more flavorful Thunder Canyon brews.
