COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Clear golden color with medium body. Brewed with locally producedall natural clover honey. The low hopping rate makes this beer lessbitter and very approachable by all. The honey adds a touch of sweetness and depth in mouthfeel. Using all midwest United States grown barley and wheat. East Kent Golding hops from the U.K.

This totally misses the mark for me. Light dusty orange pour with a small white head. Bland malty nose with some dandelion or grassiness. Thick palate, coating the tongue, and far far from a crisp and refreshing wheat beer. Bready, slight caramel, and a bit of metallic tinge. Not good.

Bottled. Poured clear, bright golden-orange with a sticky white head. The aroma picked up sweet honey and biscuity malts with earthy accents.. smelled like it was going to be sweet, but no other complaints. The flavor found sweet honey and bready notes at the core, with tart wheat, lemon rind, and a touch of clove around.. finished with a lot of residual sugars, and some nice tartness cutting through it. Lighter-bodied and sweet on the palate.. good feel.. very drinkable stuff.

Poured a deep, hazy gold with minimal head and lacing. Aroma was mix of malts, cloves and citrusy hops. Taste as a mix of malt, wheat clove and moderate hop finish. The carbonation was minimal. Palate was the highlight of this stuff, as it had a nice density. Overall, this was very drinkable.

4 oz. pour from 12 oz. bottle, split with friends while watching the bowl games. Thanks, iradog, for picking this up in Green Bay and sharing. Pours hazy gold with some suspended particulate and a small amount of beige head. Smell of oatmeal and vomit. Dry taste. A little sweetness upon multiple sips but less than expected given the name. Improves on multiple sips to the point of being “not bad.” Drinkable. Honey finish and aftertaste. Smooth and crisp in the palate. Definitely below average, but not horrible except for the very unfortunate, actively bad smell. The first of five Thunder River beers I sampled in a row.

Gold pour. Lots of pale malts wit hints of wheat. Didn’t detect much honey. Pretty average.

Pours a golden copper color with a thin, foamy white head. The taste and aroma come as advertised with hints of honey and wheat. There is a mildly malty mouth feel with moderate carbonation and a light grainy flavor that is overshadowed by the sweetness from the honey.
