Bland smell. Murky and fizzy appearance (like a wheat beer). Slightly bitter taste, not a lot of depth. Drinkable. My craft beer friends all hate it, and my non-craft beer friends all hate it, not sure why it is still being made. Maybe for wannabe beer snobs?

Tap - "Darens Dream IPA" - Tap - no head at all, dark straw color, very bitter hop flavor and aroma, pretty flat not much carbonation - not the best IPA

On tap at the brewery. Really not much to it--not an IPA worth drinking particularly. It was certainly drinkable, but I didn’t stick around for another beer.

Poured into a pint glass. A: Pale orange/dark yellow. Aggressive pour gave little head, but what was there laced really thick. S: Mild aroma of floral and grassy hops. Some spice and citrus. T: Pleasantly bitter, the way I like my IPAs. Spicier than the smell would suggest. Biscuit malts and grapefruit. Bold, like all beer should be, but not off putting. M: Not creamy, but smooth with a good amount of carbonation. D: Tasty and bold (great for not getting bored). Cheap also, so you won’t feel guilty about putting back a few. Cheap and delicious. Bottled. Pours copper with almost no head. Smells of hops and grass. It has a taste of soap and burnt malt. It is moderately sweet with a large bitter afterbite. It is strongly astringent and long lasting. Not a very pleasant beer.

Bottle. Pours a golden body with a white head. Nice hop notes of grass, earth pine, and some light citrus tones. Pine y body with a mild bitterness. Thin and quaff able. Nice ale.

For an IPA, this one was a disappointment. It had a bit of a skunky aroma/flavor which makes me think the bottle may have been a bit old. Still, not very bitter, not very citrusy, not very impressive.

Pours gold with a thin white head. Smells of citrus, some spice. Tastes of wildflowers, citrus, grassy, hay, some bitterness on the finish.
