UPDATED: AUG 17, 2007 The first thing i thought of when opening this bottle was green apples. Overtook my senses. And it does have a very fruity aroma to it as well. Bought it just because it was a new IPA i haven’t tryed yet, and at $1.49, ill probably buy it again.

My first beer from Thunderhead brewing. The IPA poured with a smallish head and a coppery color. It was not clear and had slight haze. The alcohol was a good balance to the hops at 6.7%. The IPA did have a slightly metalic taste . The hoppy bitterness is excellent. The bitter tastes does linger an area that other IPAs fail.

Straw golden color, fairly light on head retention and carbonation. A sort of skunky, hoppy aroma. Fairly unpleasant really. Flavor is thin, dominated by hops. There’s just not much here and this is a pretty mediocre IPA at best.

smells grapefruit and citrus. taste is all piney bitter hops. leaves a somewhat astringent after taste. not bad for the price.

A tea colored pour and a grassy/grapefruit aroma greeted me with this IPA. Head is a half inch or so with some retention and a nice lacing on the glass. Hops completely dominate the flavor and they leave a biting bitter after taste. Midway through the glass some pine made an appearance but it is deep down. This beer is all about hops and malt is almost non-existant.

UPDATED: JUN 2, 2007 Had this bottled, and immediately was delighted with the floral hop aroma. The label reads " Bursting with Hops" and this beer definitely does just that. Has a dark, hazy body to it, sort of orangish with a white head that disappears immediately....I liked the dry-hoppiness to this beer. It is the best or most hoppy beer out there, but it definitely is one of my GO-TO’S!! At $7.99 case, and 6.7% abv, this is a phenomenal deal. Watch out for the aftertaste though, I found inconsistency from 6-pack to 6-pack

Bottle. Light gold in color, lingering head. A little citrusy and on the bitter side, and a large hop content. Follows their slogan "bursting with hops." Though in the world of IPAs, a bit disappointing.

clear golden with beige head, it has a sweet aroma with very bitter ending. hugely disappointing.
