bottle. Clear golden yellow, large head. Resiny hoppy flavour, slightly dusty but otherwise quite pleasant. Nearly no malt detectable. Quite dry for a South German Pils.

3.5 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20
A decent full malt and well hopped pilsener. I would have prefered more hops, but this is really how a well crafted German pils should be.

2.8 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 11/20
Bottled. A clear gold coloured beer with no head. The aroma is noble hops with some slightly buttery malts. The taste is fairly standard German pilsener but it needs more hopping, and there is a slight vomit note to the taste.

3.1 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 12/20
(bottle) Clear, pale golden colour with a medium-sized blond foamy head. Mildly sweet malty, slightly buttery aroma with citrousy hops. Medium bitter flavour, light to medium bodied with a soft carbonation. Initially malty, slightly buttery Bohemian Pils-like impression; moderately dry and bitter finish with an aromatic herbal hoppy shine. Decent Pils in the Bohemian style.

3.3 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 12/20
bottled. apparently thurn and taxis is a particularly aristocratic name in germany, the brewery though is just a regular pleb. this was golden with a pine aroma, tasted of vanilla ice cream and sherbet and then had a pretty dry and moderately bitter finish
