Pours. Bottle which pours copper with a thin white head which fades very quickly. Aroma is melt Luke but sweeter. Dark fruit with rye, fruit and dark caramel. Rate is smooth with some quite a tart finish. Different and enjoyable.

Bottle @ Café Brecht, Amsterdam. Clear hazelnut, faint head. Hard candy nose and flavour. But sweet and artificial. Meh...

500ml bottle at home in Feldkirch. Aroma is malt, light coffee, light caramel. Appearance is light cloudy brown with a light brown-ish head. Taste is light sweet and light sour. Medium carbonation, a bit watery. Nice.

It is a kind of beer that it is not popular and even in Germany it is hard to find such kind of beer. The colour is brown and a bit orange. The carbonation is standard maybe it is a bit low. The smell is of course rye, giving a nice touch of sweetness maybe sugar or caramel and there is some hop. The last time, I drank this beer in France, Paris. I found fortunately this beer in a shop "rue de Charonne".

Pours deep copper with a cream thick head which is persistent. Aromas of banana and clove are abundant with some sweetness in the nose, too. Creamy flavour with slight malty spice. The banana and clove also come through in the flavour but perceived more spicily. Impression is crisp and clean but also having a mouthfilling, medium bodied character.

Bottle shared with the folks in that new craft brew bar in Budapest. It was nice gazing at the beermat wallpaper in that place. Pours Reddish Brown with a cream head. Caramel and Rye. A bit of yeasty banana. Banana and pepper. Very nice.

Brown color with a big creamy beige head. Aroma is bread, cereals. Taste is again breadish, some esthers, a bit acidic, dry. Some spicy notes too. Not bad, good beer.

500ml bottle. Pours deep mahogany brown with thin white head. Sweet vanilla / banana / yeast esters, slick berries and vanilla in the taste. Delicious smooth-drinking roggen.
