A dark amber beer with an off-white head. The aroma is sweet and slightly acidic and with faint notes of metal. The flavor is sweet with primary notes of caramel. The body is thin while the mouthfeel is sticky.

50 cL bottle. Pours dark and yet clear cola brown with a huge, fizzy/creamy and tan head. Spiced and breadish aroma. Flavour is mild estery and light acidic, holds a dry breadish base flavour. Has a lot of banana esters. Light spiced too. Goes into a spiced, medium dry and breadish flavour with banana notes. New experience beerwise and a good one.

(Bottle 50 cl) According to the back label this is both brewed and bottled in Rosenheim (Auerbräu?) for Thurm und Taxis. Pours a beautiful, clear dark brown with a handsome, creamy cappuchinoish head. Fruity nose with some banana. Sweetish, caramelish accents and loads of fruit - banana in particular. Reminds me mostly of a filtered Dunkelweizen. 160306

Bottled@Abseits. Very deep ruby colour, small beige head. ARoma is wheat, rye, some vegetables and mild roast. Flavour is big time liquorices, roasted notes, rye, some wheat. Slightly unbalanced maybe, but very pleasant surprise from this beer.

Bottle, 5.3%. Spicy, wheaty aroma. Quite estery. Clear, dark brown colour. Small head. The flavour too reminds me of wheat beer. Estery, quite sweet. Carbonation is high, but somehow soft. Would have guessed this to be a Dunkelweizen.
