Bottle, 33cL. @VandB Poitiers. A hazy dark earthy beer with a large thin white head. Good persistance and lacing. Aroma is spicy (clove), caramel and a bit fruity (pear) when the temperature is rising. Light but lasting bitterness balanced with medium sweetness. Medium body / texture / carbonation. Sweet refreshing finish. Overall, I like this beer ! No lemon or orange aroma like white belgian white beers. Surprising style (for me).

Bu en bouteille de 50cl. Une bière brune trouble, peu de mousse.
Une bière sans vraiment d’intérêt, on sent le mal grillé et c’est tout... Triste

Bottle. Brownish beer with a very strong lightly brown head. The aroma is mildly roasted with yeasty and citrus'ness, and the flavour is also gently roasted, yeasty and citrusy with plenty of dryness. Overall a very good beer.

500 ml Bottle in Regensburg, Germany. Is a cloudy brown color with a long lasting beige head. The aroma was of toffee, bananas and spice. The taste was sweet with some bananas, cloves and bubble gum. Palate is rather nice.

2.9 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 10/20
It poured a cloudy brown, almost like gingerbread. with a slighty off-white head which was huge! The nose was laden with cloves and other wintery spices, such as ginger and even a trace of nutmeg - I was getting excited at the prospect of this one, winter is my favourite time of year! The beer has a nice balance of sweetness and bitterness, with neither overpowering the other - reminding me of slightly burnt toffee as well as bananas flambeed in rum, it was very nice, but about half way down it lost some of its zest and was in fact somewhat dull to finish off, a bit of an anti-climax really.

3.3 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20
Bottle 50cl (but one year over the limit), a dark amber beer with creamy white head. Nose is on chocolate malt and fresh brown bread, aroma is on toasted malt, medium sweet, body is a bit watery, banana notes are low, finish is shot. A bit disappointed even if the beer is properly done.

from Mittelwihr, France - cloudy brown colour under a dark beige foam; nice lace; aroma of cloves, banana and caramel; subtle and quite high carbonation, sweet and medium-bodied, some tart acidity; the finish is quite dry with lingering notes of cloves and banana - typical and boring
