3.4 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 15/20
Bright, clear amber in colour. Bit of lacing, not much head. Brisk, hoppy aroma. Tangerine, tropical notes. Taste is slightly bitter, with lots of fruitiness. Palate is light to medium. Quite crisp overall and leaves the mouth dry. Lots of interest in here despite the relatively low alcohol content.

3.7 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 14/20
Bottle at a pub. Pours clear amber with small white head. Citrus, fruits and sweet with some grapes. Bitter with nonspecific hops and sweet malts. Light body and smooth palate and hoppy after taste. Very nice for a UK made IPA. Probably because it emulates murican IPAs.

3.8 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 14/20
0.33 l bottle from a friend. Amber colour, decent head. Looks like bitter. Aroma is citrus from the hops. Taste is first citrus, but then the malts hit. The mixture of different malts won’t let the hops take all the glory. Well, this is clearly an English interpretation of American IPA: Extra heavy bitter.

33cl cam (poured into a stemmed tulip glass) at The Goldengrove, Stratford on 26-Sep-2015. Clear dark amber colour with a decent sized white head. Aroma of pine and sweet fruit. Flavours of sweet malt caramel and, hops with a bitter finish - citrus; some grapefruit with a little lime on the palate. More APA than IPA but very drinkable.
