Bright, clear amber in colour. Bit of lacing, not much head. Brisk, hoppy aroma. Tangerine, tropical notes. Taste is slightly bitter, with lots of fruitiness. Palate is light to medium. Quite crisp overall and leaves the mouth dry. Lots of interest in here despite the relatively low alcohol content.

Keg in the Paget Arms, Loughborough. Amber with an off white head. Sweet with caramel and spice. Expected more of this. Citrus and some pineapple. Good but not great.

Bottled. Bright amber color, lacy head. Sweet floral, orangey, gooseberryish hops, a touch of green herbs. Creamy caramel aroma. Dry, slightly toasted and biscuity/creamy caramel malt flavor. A hint of dried fruits. Medium strong, slightly green and resinous bitterness in the finish. Frothy and fresh texture, medium body.

Standard English attempt at an American ipa. A little hoppy, a little stronger than usual. Very dark for an ipa and accompanying caramel flavours.

Bottle delivered by Beer52. Lovely grapefruit aroma but not overdone. Nice citrus burst, bitter, but just to the right level. Very much enjoyed.

Appearance is amber, reasonably dark, clear, one finger off-white head. Aroma- creamy malt, soft fruitiness, orange, hoppy. Understated for an American IPA. Taste- hop bitterness, fruity undertones, pineapple, biscuity malt, some caramel. Ok IPA.

Bottle sample at a tasting at Max’s place. Thanks Stas. As "Crafty Dan 13 Guns". Clear copper. Aroma of malt and stale hops. Sweet malty flavor with a caramel touch, a candy-ish hint, stale hops and a bitterish finish. Medium-bodied. Probably better when fresh.

Reasonably good american IPA. No wow effect about the taste. Strong average.
