Bottled. A red beer with a lazing beige head. The aroma has notes of over ripe fruits, caramel, and hops. The flavor is sweet with notes of malt, fruits, and spices, leading to a bitter finish. Had expected a lot more.

GBBF. Light haze on this amber beer, good pale cream coloured head. Light semi dry palate, fresh. Creamy malt base with light citric hops. Semi dry finish. A real pleasant surprise - very good effort!

UPDATED: APR 30, 2015 Gbbf 2012. 5.5%. clear deep amber colour thick beige head. American hop aroma. amarillos i think. Really drinkable due to the softness from the sparkler but really good. Best UK beer here. I stand by this rating but I had a can from Morrisons and it was a sweet toffee mess of a beer. Some hop. But the can form gets a 3/5 at best. Sweet and frankly not very good. 2.8/5 is more like it.
