7th August 2012 GBBF. Light haze on this amber beer, good pale cream coloured head. Light semi dry palate, fresh. Creamy malt base with light citric hops. Semi dry finish. A real pleasant surprise - very good effort!
3.3 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20 maeib (7542) - Wootton, Northampton, Northamptonshire, ENGLAND - FEB 12, 2013
Cask conditioned handpump Veritas Leeds 06/02/13. A classic brown coloured beer with a tight white head and lace. Lots of hops in this no doubt, but the malts are way too sweet and provide a chocolate sickliness. Orange and coffee join the chocolate. Too chewy. Good bits, bad bits.

Handpulled cask, half at NWAF, shared with Finn. Golden-brown body. Naked surface. Nice fruity hops to the nose, hint of grapefruits. Blended taste character of fruity hops, pine and grapefruits, upheld by malty sweetness. Dry bitter finish. Well bodied. Pleasant (Manchester, 24.01.2013).
3.5 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20 Scopey (3229) - Croydon, Greater London, ENGLAND - AUG 20, 2012
Cask at GBBF 2012, recommended by quite a few people! It pours deep amber, with a medium beige head. The nose is caramel, wood, leather, varnish and citrus pith. The taste is wood, resin, leather, varnish, leaf and fruitiness, with a dry finish. Medium body, soft carbonation and creamy mouth-feel. Quite malt-driven for an "IPA", but rather well balanced and smooth. Surprisingly good.

Cask @ GBBF ’12. Pours deep gold with a white head. The nose is fresh funky hops, some light lemon and wood. The taste is hoppy, some lemon and cherry wood. Light caramel malt presence keeping things in check. Light, balanced and pleasant. Pretty nice. People were raving about this at the fest...
