BOTTLE 33CL from ciocanelu. Mulțumesc, Silviu! Look: clear dark copper, light beigefrothy head. Aroma: rich caramalt, caramel, toffee backed by spicy herbal hops, some spiciness may cone from rye? Taste: caramel, solid spicy bitterness, rye spiciness?

Its more sweet than it is bitter, with high noshes of toffee, Aroma has a lot of spice in it. So a mixed bag of things. Itís ok, itís not making me bursting into a Mexican Wave of appreciation.

Cask at the Botanist, Kew. Clear dark orange / brown, still, small white head. Aroma is orange, musty malt, doughnut. Body is medium, slightly foamy, low carbonation. Taste is burnt toffee, ash with mixed citrus, astringent with a fairly bitter finish. OK.

Bottled sample from the MLCC. Lightish brown colour. Minimal head. Lots of bubbles. Toffee malt flavour. Loved the Hops. Great beer

Bottle from Blue Glass, Bedford. Amber/copper, decent carbonation with very little head. Heavy malt scent with caramel and papaya overtones. Taste is very malty for an IPA, more a English than American really. Bittersweet taste leads to a sweetish umami finish. Proper stuff, although nowhere near what I was expecting!

Darker amber pour than a typical IPA. Beige head. Malty flavors, kind of a one hop pony but not too bad.

0.33L bottle. Dark Brown with medium top. Sweet caramel and prune aroma. Caramellic taste, little sweet, light bitter finish, maybe even watery. Grassy mouthfeel.

Bottle. Crystal clear amber pour with a fizzy beige head. Toffee and light hops in the aroma. Flavour is not particularly hoppy for an IPA, but a nice flavour profile and balance. Tastes halfway between an IPA and an ESB. Not bad.

Bottle from the Bottle Stop, Bramhall. Poured amber coloured with a thin quickly fading off white head. Aroma is floral hops, some caramel sweetness, faint ginger person. Flavour definitely needs more hops, clearly UK and not USA in style. I didnít find the hops intense and itís a bit too sweet for my liking.

Amber pour. Head dissipates fairly quick. Subtle hop aroma, notes of toasted malt. Very well balanced with some sweetness from the malt balancing nicely with he bitter hops. Finishes slightly bitter.
