Medium tan head, disappears fast, some lacing. Wonderfull rich aroma perfectly balanced between tropical fruits, caramelly/toasty maltiness and a little spice. Taste: medium sweet and light bitter upfront, bittersweet finish with a hint of acidity, pleasant round bitterness in aftertaste. Light to medium carbonation, medium body, a little sticky aftertaste. Wonderful balance, wonderful beer!

Draft. Refreshing but has an element of toffee to finish. A lot lighter in taste than the punch it packs

Cask at GBBF 2012, London. Pours rich, clear gold with an super thick, off-white cream head. Gloral, grassy hop aroma. Light to medium sweet flavor with lightly toasted pale malts, grass, light urine, pineapple, grapefruit. Light to medium bodied with fine, smooth carbonation. Moderately resinous finish, some pine, semi-dry grapefruit. Surprise of the festival. Excellent beer.

Bottled, Booths. This is superb. Rich fruity aroma, red berries, smooth rounded biscuit palate and a fine soft finish, which has dry, woody notes and increasingly obvious grapefruit flavours. Lovely red colour, Thwaites continue to impress.
