Pretty boring brown ale. Some hop aromas and flavors with some coffee malt flavors. Meh. Pretty standard.

I really enjoyed this. It’s a lovely purple red colour, with a head that dissipates very quickly. Medium body. The aroma, and then the taste, is like a fruit punch or (my wife tried it to confirm I wasn’t going mad) sangria. The malty finish is then nice and dry.

Bottle. Clear, dark, red-brown pour. Aromas of raisins, grape, toffee. Flavour has a light hop edge, dark fruits, a bit of coffee. Decent balance, medium body. Not a bad brown ale.

330 ml bottle @ home, July 07, 2014. Beer from a tulip glass. Bought @ "Vinmonopolet Oslo City". Dark brown in color with a thin beige head and medium carbonation. Aroma is roasted malt, citrus, some hop and a vinous smell. Tastes a bit thin and weak, but has a strong bitter taste and finish. Not my cup of tea.

Bottle from Terre de Boissons Calais. Dark brown clear. Lasting thin beige head. Malty aroma. Quite malty, fruity in the mouth with some interesting hop sting on the finish. Quite a tasty brown ale. Some ok hop on the finish.

Bottled sample. Dark brown in colour with moderate carbonation. Fruits and florals upfront on the nose along with some toasted malt on the back end. Flavors are a blend of tropical C hops and sweet & grassy UK hops, along with some nice breads malts. Well balanced. Good overall.
