330ml bottle from Bargain Booze. BB July 2015. Very dark ruby, small tan head. Aroma - cola, lime, musty pine. Body is medium, slightly foamy, low carbonation. Taste is toffee, malty, some resin and light twiggy bitterness. A bit boring, but at least it smells hoppy. My sister says that it makes her want to set fire to her tongue.

330 ml bottle, as Crafty Dan Big Ben, from the Norwegian importer. Clear dark reddish brown colour, low off-white to beige head. Aroma of caramel and brown bread, also some fruity and earthy hops. Malty flavour with bready notes and some caramel, but not too sweet. Also fruity hops, roasty notes in the finish. Nice enough to drink. Drank it fairly cold, refreshing.

Bitter hop aroma, some fruit notes. Tastes little bitter and finishes with rather sweet and lingering. As a fan of brown ales, this is a must try. Very good combination of sweet and bitter :) ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

33 cl bottle from Vinmonopolet. Pours dark brown almost black with a small soon fading beige head. Refreshing brown with aromas of coffee and caramel. Hints of citrus. Good brew.

UPDATED: DEC 4, 2014 Nearly opaque crimson black appearance. Minimal head. Wonderful caramel, malt, roast, and hop aroma. Surprisingly underwhelming taste. Expectation was creamy, but was rather thin and watery. Taste is quite watery as well. Malt, caramel, and a nice lingering hop are present, but they’re far too suppressed in order to present a robust taste. Just ok.
