Bottle (dmg notes). Nice head. Flat aroma. Notes of candy and flowers. Flavour just lets the flowerness in aroma become even stronger. All that was readable...

UPDATED: AUG 15, 2011 500ml bottle. A few years old but can’t see any ABV. Very deep ruby colour with a lasting beige head. Aroma is quite restrained. Some fruity malt. More fruit on the palate. Some wine-gum notes. Not a lot of bitterness. Maybe a touch sweet on the finish but has a quite full mouthfeel. A quite tasty ruby ale, whether it is actually a mild may be debatable. Has certainly held up quite well despite the age.

Bottled. Ruby red colour, mediumsized beige foamy/fluffy head that settles into small cream. Aroma is roasted malts, toasted notes as well as some smoked wet wood and mild earthy notes. Flavour is dark fruits, smoked wet wood, mild liquorice and some slight roasted notes. Also some very mild cinnamon around.

Bottled, pasteurised, 500ml. Chestnut with thin head. I’m really not sure whether the Mild style lends itself to pasteurised bottling. Ok, this has a higher ABV and is probably more Brown Ale than Mild, but the flavours come over harsh and tinny instead of fruity, choclatey. Slight acidity in the finish, its struggling to be a decent beer, but not there.

Mahogany with a nice, golden head. The aroma has notes of roasted malt and light sweetness. The flavour is slightly sweet with loads of roasted malt, caramel and a dry, citrussy finish. 1726

Bottle. Reddish black beer with a good head. The aroma is lightly roasted, and the flavour is dry, malty and roasted. Overall a reasonable roasted slightly sweet and dry beer.

yngwie (14053) - Kristiansand, NORWAY - AUG 26, 2007
Bottle. Clear, ruby body with a decent beige head. Rounded nose with dried fruits, a little roasted nose, raisins, and a touch of port. The flavor has dried fruits, hints of alcohol, hops, roasted malt and raisins. Medium body. Lightly roasted finish with some hops and dried fruits. A nice mild, where the aroma is the most satisfying part of the experience. (070627)
