COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Bottled only; Pasteurised.
NOTE: The cask version has a seperate listing.
Refreshing amber ale, brewed with four hop varieties for superb taste and aroma.
When Daniel Thwaites was embarking on his brewing career, the ’Indus’ would have been voyaging to the East Indies = trading Lancashire cotton for exotic Eastern delights. Our Indus Pale Ale celebrates ales of that period with a refreshing brew enriched with abundant hops for flavour that stays fresh and crisp to the finish.

I’m very glad I read the description prior to opening this one, because as an ESB, this makes sense. Good balance and strong malt backbone without ignoring the spicy hop character. Amazing finish that keeps you wanting another gulp.

500 ml brown bottle, abv 4.6%, b@Ica Isrenna Tromsø. Moderate white head, sprangled lacings, amber body, hoppy scents with much spruce and rich roasted malts to the nose too. Broad taste; hops, roasted malts, spruce, resin, caramel, bitter, well balanced overall. Dry and fresh ending, where taste continues, plus hints of apricot and almond and lemon-peel, and the final is also well balanced.

Bottle. Golden and clear. Hoppy with a lingering bitterness .Plenty of body considering its fairly low strength. Worth trying.

Panzerfaust (561) - Hanga Roa, Easter Island, CHILE - NOV 9, 2013
Bottled from Jumbo, Santiago. Pours a hazy amber color with a big white head. Aroma is hoppy with plenty of english character, lemongrass, pine and cedar. Taste is moderately bitter with a nice astringent finish that leaves some zest aftertaste behind. Light bodied, maybe too much for an IPA but pleasant and refreshing. A well made, quality brew but maybe a little bit overexpensive.

500 ml flaske. Fruktig aroma. Ikke veldig bitter, lett sødme. Snill IPA. (OFKS, 01.11.13)

Caramel and some hops in the aroma. Golden colour with a head that disappears quite quickly. Medium sweet with a bitterness that are really balanced. light body with a slight oily texture. average carbonation. Bitter finish. Over all a OK beer, a bit thin maybe but refreshing.
