COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Bottled only; Pasteurised.
NOTE: The cask version has a seperate listing.
Refreshing amber ale, brewed with four hop varieties for superb taste and aroma.
When Daniel Thwaites was embarking on his brewing career, the ’Indus’ would have been voyaging to the East Indies = trading Lancashire cotton for exotic Eastern delights. Our Indus Pale Ale celebrates ales of that period with a refreshing brew enriched with abundant hops for flavour that stays fresh and crisp to the finish.

Aroma e sabores bem lupulados. Uma boa IPA pra o final do dia. Final seco e curto. Lava os pecados.

Golden colour with a white head. Fruity and citric nose. Flavour are also fruity and citric, with a subtle caramel background. British IPA are normaly a bit more mild. Like the original style. Not like the american versions. This had a really fine and rich taste. Must go back and see if they have more, because this was really good.
Bottle from ICA Supermarked - Storo

Bottle at home in London. Pours clear, rich gold with a foamy, white head. Has a nice hop aroma, leaves and pine, some toasted malts. Sweet flavor, light caramel, toast, light citrus bitterness, some faint herbal and leafy bitterness. Light to medium in body with fine to average carbonation. Light sticky finish, mild earthiness, some light toffee and caramel, toast. Very nice.

UPDATED: MAR 10, 2012 (Bottled) Ive overlooked this in the fridge for ever and its cause i was suspicious about this being very ’skunky’ and the nose was . Dusty yeasty and butterscotch malt suck .... But on the plate there is redemption , its pretty nice. Buttery caramel , rich with a unity of juicy hoppiness , dry finish -suggestions of dried fruit maybe . If this were bottled conditioned it could be really slick .

UPDATED: SEP 15, 2012 Flaske fra ICA: Nydelig gylden farge med stort skum som varer. Tydelig aroma med humler (4 ulike flg etiketten) og karamellmalt. Deilig, velbalansert smak. En super butikk-ipa. Denne skal jeg ha felere av!

Bottle. Amber colour medium head. Hop aroma. Taste is grassy and hoppy medium bitterness. A nice balance, if you like a middle of the road beer. Just taken some more sups of this and it improves, the taste is actually better than my initial thoughts. A good hoppy beer.

Bottle. Golden and clear. Hoppy with a lingering bitterness .Plenty of body considering its fairly low strength. Worth trying.
