Bottled. A dark brown coloured beer with no head. The aroma is fruity with raisins and prunes. Cardboard also. Plenty of caramel in the mouth with fruity malty raisins. More cardboard and a little warming alcohol. After a while though it becomes too sugary sweet by half.
2.9 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 11/20 faroeviking (10300) - FAROE ISLANDS - AUG 12, 2008
Botella, comes as "Co-op Strong Ale". Unclear deep amber-brown colour. Aroma of mildly roasted malt with some chocolate and mild dark fruits. Fair mouthfeel. Mildly roasty maltiness in the flavour along with some grains, dark fruits and bit of bread.
3.5 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 14/20 larsga (5364) - Oslo, NORWAY - JUL 19, 2008

2 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 4/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 7/20 HarryFlashman (469) - Chatham, Kent, ENGLAND - MAY 10, 2008
This was OK, but a bit too syrupy, sweet and caramel for me. You can see by looking at the ingredient list that it is full of shit. More hops, less malt and sweetness a mon avis.
3.5 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20 Maria (9631) - Thisted, DENMARK - FEB 1, 2008
Brown/black with a nice head. The aroma has notes of roasted malt and the flavour has a nice, full body with notes of roasted malt, caramel, light sweetness and a hint of licorice. The finish has light bitterness. Nice!
3.2 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 13/20 Skinnyviking (6065) - Copenhagen, DENMARK - SEP 30, 2007
Bottle. High fluffy but lasting light brown head. Very dark red body. Barley malt aroma with cocoa and caramel notes. Cocoa and hops have been mixed with caramel flavors in nice and good balance. It is however a bit thin and besides there are some metallic notes. Low carbonation. Long and sweet cocoa aftertaste.

Bottle from the Co-op. Mahogany with creamy tan suds. Richly malty snout with caramel, chocolate and hop mustiness. Chalky, smooth, chocolatey and bitter. Enjoyed it.
