COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Cask: Regular.
"The Northern Beauty. A very easy drinking beer with an inviting malty aroma, this rich amber beer is brewed using pale ale and crystal malt to achieve this full-bodied flavour. A finely balanced hop character is enriched by the late addition of Styrian Goldings as a dry hop to give a prominent floral hop aroma and warming aftertaste."

Pulled from cask, a medium copper complexion. A moderate head, yeasty aroma and a malty, bitter taste. Not bad.

Pleasant aroma, taste and palate, but I’m not thrilled. [short review due to it coming from my backlog]

Cask at Habberley Social Club, Kidderminster. Pours brown gold with a medium head. Aroma is eggy with bread and yeast. Taste is yeasty to start with a bitter, bready malt finish. A touch of lemon.

Low odor, the taste was still pretty strong and the taste lingers for quite some time. An okay beer. The aftertaste is still pretty long too. I’m not sure if I would buy this again. I would hesitate about it. Maybe maybe not, I would buy it again. However, one should clearly try this beer. Nothing wrong with it I think.

Half pint @ Wetherspoons Thanks for sharing Rune! Clear copper body. Smells like sour socks, cheese, poo and moist cellar. Taste of mould, cheddar cheese and dark fruit. Bitter and salty finish. 4.Jul.2012, Manchester

Looks like a boring brown beer. Smells a bit like a boring brown beer. But it's not. It's sweet but not cloying. Enough hops to keep it refreshing. Not bad. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

worldbeertaste (1121) - Lancashire, ENGLAND - MAR 13, 2012
Light copper dark with a quick dissapearing head. Faint weak smell of a malt. Medium smooth thin body. Very watery. Taste of malt with a light bitter finish. Slightly sweet with a little berry. Almost tastes like nothing. Very little here.

Darkish bitter with a malty palate, tasting somewhat of treacle toffee and caramel. Decent English-style hop aroma and medium finish.
