COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Cask: Regular.
"The Northern Beauty. A very easy drinking beer with an inviting malty aroma, this rich amber beer is brewed using pale ale and crystal malt to achieve this full-bodied flavour. A finely balanced hop character is enriched by the late addition of Styrian Goldings as a dry hop to give a prominent floral hop aroma and warming aftertaste."

500 ml. Clear copper with a lasting thin disc of cream. Spots of lace. Aroma is caramel with a hint of spicy oak and vanilla. Flavor is similar with apple and tinges of funky leather, more wood and vanilla on the finish. Light-medium body is tingly and finishes dry. Another nice session ale.

Handpump at Hopwood House, Hopwood, Warwickshire. Amber colour with a lasting cream head. Aroma was malt with a bit of citrus. Malt and apple taste, other fruits too. Medium bitterness. Very enjoyable on a depressingly wet autumnal Midlands afternoon.

Cask at barony ... nice copper ... odd soapy nose ... fruit malts ... oats and caramel ... quite watery mouth feel ... but real tasty ... something odd but not unpleasent in it.

Cask gravity at The George, Bethersden. Chestnut colour with bubbly off white head. Malty aroma with touch of tangy hop. Good malt flavours in mouth that slide into red berry and citrus. Not sure what I expected from this, but the hop really is quite spicey. Bit of tea on the aroma. Surprisingly tasty.
