"This rich amber beer is brewed with only the finest English ingredients. A prominent hop aroma and bitterness throughout is finely balanced with a full malt flavour, leading to a dry bitter finish."

(Bottle, 0.5 l, 20120205) The beer poured copper coloured and clear. Its head was medium sized and almost white. Aroma had toffee, malts and hops. Palate was medium bodied with medium carbonation. Flavours were malts, toffee, hops and bitterness. Aftertaste was malty and bitter. An ordinary bitter with perhaps a bit stronger hoppiness than bitters usually show.

Bottle from LCBO. Clear amber with an off white head. Some sweet malts, caramel, slight hops and grain. Average carbonation that decreases quickly after the bottle is opened, little thin and watery, slightly sweet with a bit of bitterness and skunkiness, somewhat sweet and dry finish but leaves a macro/skunk aftertaste.
