"This rich amber beer is brewed with only the finest English ingredients. A prominent hop aroma and bitterness throughout is finely balanced with a full malt flavour, leading to a dry bitter finish."

No mucho que decir. Mínimo aroma, mínimo sabor, nulo final. Densidad correcta. Punto.

Brown bitter. Rich, malty, peppery, good stuff. I thought I’d dislike it but, no.

Can from the LCBO. Deep clear copper pour with a tiny white head. Nose is light roast and a touch of apricot. Mild fruity sweetness with an equal balance of bitterness leading to s relatively short finish. Mouth is quite thin and watery with average carbonation. Easy drinking but not much character.

0.5 bottle from Pulkovsky Universam, St Petersburg. Classic, old skool bitter - slightly malty, with a very bitter finish. Drank this straight from the fridge, maybe it demands a re-rate at a later date. But this is definitely the sort of beer that I would prefer on tap. Memories of drinking in Barnsley before matches, when Oakwell had a proper atmosphere, and football was a proper sport.

From bottle. Appearance: chestnut with thin white head, not much head retention. Aroma: not much to the nose, slight hint of hops and slightly metallic. Taste: light bitterness, a bit of fruit and toffee at the end. Pallet: light carbonation, decent enough mouthfeel. Very short finish. A good session drink, light and not complex.

Tallboy can at The London lounge in Zhuhai, China, special econmoic zone, prefecture, co, ltd. A clear pouring lightly caramrl colored beer with a wimpy head but great, neigh excellent retention. English bitter all the way. Toffee, bitter hoppy, and the Golding/Fuggles mess, whicg is growing on me quite well.
