"This rich amber beer is brewed with only the finest English ingredients. A prominent hop aroma and bitterness throughout is finely balanced with a full malt flavour, leading to a dry bitter finish."

Pours amber with some dark golden hues and a small white head. Aroma is faint sweet malts with some restrained fruity esthers. Flavor is rather bland with some medium caramel malts and a very faint flowery hop notes and a rather salty bland palate. Meh

500 ml bottle. Strong bitter smell, hops involved strongly. Dark amber color with a small white head. Better taste than other Thawites that I have tried. Strong, deep and balanced, the same for the palate sensation. Great beer for bombing germans :P

Brown/amber body with a thin creamy head, nice lacing is evident immediately. Real sweet toffee and caramel are the forefront of the taste. Not really getting any hop aroma on this.Lower carbonation fitting with the style, but a little sweet to be as sessionable as the style is intended to be.

Pours a clear dark copper colour. Has wispy head with good lace. If you’ve ever had fullers ESB then you’ll think this beer is 75% of it.

500ml bottle from Beers of Europe. Pours clear amber brown, long lasting thin white head. Aromas of caramel and banana. Taste is all toffee. Far too sweet. Hard work.

Good beer to start the night off with. Bit of fruit but not overpowering. Low carbonation. Nice easy beer. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone
