Cask at Briar Rose, Birmingham Golden color, creamy head. Light and fresh aroma, a bit fruity. Mild malt flavor, with a light toffee and biscuits touch; it has a correct bitterness with a delicate citrusy touch, lemon and bergamot; the final is balanced, with a light pungent trait. Cask - Wetherspoons, Victoria station, London. Poured with a clear golden amber body beneath a loose & bubbly, fading white head. Pretty standard golden ale characteristics all told. Some fruity hoppiness, pale malt sweetness & a grassy bitterness at the back. Light to medium body, soft mouthfeel with a light spritz & finished with a lingering, medium intensity bitterness. Solid but standard.
