A fairly decent ale. Looks: golden with a big white head. Aroma: orange peel, lemon, caramel and some wheat. Taste: Some citrus lemon, orange and a slightly hoppy bitter finish. A good everyday ale. From a can, price paid: free (out of date).

Shared bottle at local tasting, fjØLøy edition..Pours almost clear golden with a tiny white head. Aroma of grainy malts, sweet caramel, honey and fruits. Taste is light sweet grainy, weak fruity with a grainy kind of bitter finish, ok beer .

Lys disig gyllen kropp med lavt hvitt skum som blir liggende som en film. Fruktig, bæraktig, sukkeraktig aroma. Besk og pepperaktig med en lang og ubehaglig ettersmak preget av aceton.

Shared 500 ml bottle, as Thwaites Wainwright Golden Ale, bought in London. ABV is 4.1%. Clear golden colour, moderate white head. Sourish and dusty aroma, hints of old jam. The flavour is better, fairly decent hops throughout. Medium dry, light bodied.

Bottle from Morrisons. Beautiful golden pour with small white head. Not much of an aroma. Sweet and malty with a touch of fruity bitterness to finish. Very easy drinkable, nice enough but very simple.
