3.2 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 12/20
500ml bottle. Poured with a fluffy one finger white head with good retention leaving a fair consistency lace on a lively golden amber-copper body. It’s an English golden citrus hop all-rounder. Slightly rindy with a drop of sweetness and bready, biscuity malt at the back. Crisp-ish & firm on the palate. Light to medium body, smooth & lightly spritzy mouthfeel with a soft bitterness in the finish.

3.4 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 14/20
Small, dense yellowish head over clear old-golden beer. Rather sweetish, caramelly nose, diluted corn syrup. Bitter, lovely floral UK hops dominating, yielding flavours as from fine raw pipetobacco or green tea. Excellent, totally at odds with the near non-existent, dull nose. Bitter green grapes, finish has some fleeting wild bitter honey. Light bodied, but not watery, totally in accordance with the ABV, and quite refreshing. Pleasing, refreshing light ale. Truly sorry about that absence of any decent nose.

2.2 AROMA 4/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 6/20
Floral scent. Very thin head. Quite a lot of carbonation for an ale. Taste is slightly bitter citrus with traces of hops. Not an overly impressive ale. Has a lot in common with an average lager. Overall unremarkable but not disgusting. At 4.1% it can be sessioned.
