A golden ale with a thick receding white head. In aroma, predominating caramel malt with faint herbal hops. In mouth, a dryish lager like beer, with crisp malt, light caramel, faint British hops, quaffable, but not really a bitter. Bought at the MLCC, April 2011.

Koelschtrinker (11045) - Köln (Cologne), GERMANY - MAY 5, 2011
Stimmig! 9/9/9/9/7/9

0.5 l bottle from City-Market Keljo, Jyväskylä. Copper color. Floral and resiny hop aroma. Dryish taste with floral, fruity and resiny hop flavor on top, minerally bitterness in finish. Light bodied. Could have more malt backbone and less mineral taste. Refreshing.

piscator34 (1995) - Winnipeg, Manitoba, CANADA - MAR 12, 2011
Bottled sample. Gold in colour with medium carbonation. Aromas are of orange marmalade, biscuity pale malt, and wet stones. The orange marmalade quality persists in the mouth as well, along with elements of quince, cut grass, and more pale malt. Light bodied. Delicate and moreish, but a bit too much carbonation for this style.
