Bottle 500 ml at home, into a Guinness glass, ABV 4.1% Pours a deep orange beer, with a small and thin head on top, with low retention, leaving medium lacing on the glass. Clear transparent body with minimal activity in it. Aroma of malts, biscuits, straw, light toffee. Taste is sweet with biscuits and cookie dough, clean malts, again light toffee. Nice bitterness on the aftertaste, with average duration. Medium body, average carbonation. Overall not a bad one, goes easily down.

Bottle. Golden with a frothy head. Has a very drinkable pale ale texture with a small dry hopped aroma that includes light fruits - these are evident in its taste too.

440 ml can (canned end of Nov 2013) into 20oz pint glass. Lovely, clear golden pour with fluffy white head that remains all the way to the end. Typical fruity English hop aromas, along with sweet wheat and biscuity malt. Lightly hopped, but good balanced malty, wheaty backbone flavours, with a slight lemony citric bitterness, too. Light bodied, it is an English Golden Ale after all, thin feel, but lively carbonation, short lightly bittered finish. A decent quaffer that reminds me of home, and the wonderful beer gardens in the spring & summer.

Rating #935 - January 22, 2014 - 440ml Can from sales rep. Clear golden pour with a decent white head, medium retention. Aroma is pear juice, floral. Taste is extremely bland, light in body even for the style. Balance of sweet and bitter is there, but itís lost in an abyss of nothingness.
