Pours fizzy with a big head. Nice dark colour, particularly for a golden beer. Pleasant initial taste. Smooth, with a malty, biscuity taste and a hint of a bitter finish. Will definitely have another one of these.

great golden bear with lasting sudsy head. Nothing much aroma wise, but nice slightly sweetish fruity taste, followed by pleasant bitter taste. Although I wouldnt say its anything special, it was an enjoyable evening drink after a hard day in the garden. I would definately drink this one again.

500ml Bottle Aroma is slightly woody hoppy malty caramel with slight floral notes. Appearance is a very dark amber - much darker than one would expect from a golden ale. It pours averagely well with a lacey head. Quite a fizzy pint tho. Taste is malty with hints of toffee and fruit before giving way to a bitter finish. A session beer but there are much better.

A golden amber coloured beer with a thick white head. Biscuity, slightly sweet malty nose with a hint of honey. Dry mouthfeel. Dry, biscuity malt flavour, and again, there is a sweet honey flavour. There is a touch of citrus fruit in the finish. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

(bottle) Clear, golden colour with a blond medium-sized foamy head. Slightly buttery cara-malty aroma with citric and delicately woody hops. Moderately bitter and slightly sweet flavour, light bodied with a soft carbonation. Rounded malty and fruity taste with notes of toffee, citrus/lime and honey towards the mildly bitter and woody hoppy finish. A subtle but also quite refreshing and satisfying brew. 01.V.12
