Cask, The Highcross, Leicester. Golden with an off-white head. Aromas are citrus with cream and vanilla. Some biscuit malts along with spices. Flavours are buttery malts with dry citrus. Some biscuit with a dry hoppy finish.

Jul 20, 2008 Bottle, from Waitrose, Lincoln. Deep gold, good lasting white head and low condition. Gentle grassy hop nose with a faint hint of caramel, soft and hop bitter in the mouth with a background fruity sweetness, short finish with hints of flowery hop and some residual caramel sweetness.

Jul 13, 2008 Handpulled cask at JDW Leicester Square during recent international beer fest. A golden bitter with an off-white head and lacing. The aroma has some wierd banana and peach thing going on. The taste is too sweet also with some light fruit. Smooth on the palate but nothing special.

Jun 14, 2008 Bottle. Poured a pure gold colour with a thin head. The aroma has a hint of honey. Plenty of fruit and and some hops with a touch of a bitter taste.
Not a bad beer.

May 27, 2008 Bottle. Strong aroma of honey. Golden appearance with a thin lace. Sweet beer. Thin in flavour. Tasted like honey and water to me. A little dissipointing.
