COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
The superb Golden Russet is blended with Cox's Orange and Ribston Pippin for greater complexity and depth. Gently sparkling, with dry, smoky apple flavours, a hint of oak, and just a touch of sweetness. A great cider to accompany food. Serve cool but not cold.

Bottle, shared with my wife and the Corstens on our last night in the maritimes. Lightly golden with brisk carbonation. Lovely pear tart aroma, very homey, subtly spicy. Sweet apple cobbler flavor, lightly spicy. Really brings to mind an apple dessert pastry, but stays light in the mouth and the finish is gently tart. Very well balanced and crazy drinkable. I’ve been quite impressed with this little cidery!

[1955-20090116] 750mL bottle. Sweet apple skins aroma is sugary with weird flour characteristics. Clear, light yellow body with quick white bubbles. Dry apples flavour seems a tart mix of green apples and macs. Medium body. Average.

2007 bottle. Pale straw colour. Aroma is fairly perfumey with a light apple skin aroma over a rich fruitiness. Flavour is very, very dry. Soft apple flavour and a light minerally quality. Soft acidity through the middle. A bit of pineapple and a kiss of vanilla as well. Clean, crisp, well-balanced cider.

(750ml bottle) Pours a golden body. Mildly sweet nose of ripe MacIntosh and Pippin. Flavour is nicely tart with a semi-sweet seed tone and some rind. Good.

Gorbalev (2912) - Ontario, CANADA - APR 7, 2007
Bottle shared with Hogtown Harry, Blankboy, Jerc, and GregClow, courtesy of Jerc. Clear, just a tad darker than water. Dry dry dry aroma, almost white wine like with hints of fruit. Taste is a little tart, but pretty nondescript, alcohol not noticeable. This cider left no impression on me at all, it was easy to drink I guess. Pass.

Bottle shared with HogTownHarry, blankboy, jerc & tupalev - courtesy of jerc. Extremely pale yellow. Mellow aroma & flavour of fresh apple and dry wine. A slight woodiness in there as well. Uh... yeah, I liked it, but I couldn’t think of much more to write about it.

Bottle (750ml). Shared with blankboy, GregClow, jerc and tupalev, jerc’s bottle. VERY pale yellow pour, not much head, slightly oily-looking. Aroma is of off-dry white wine and dry, slightly oxidized tangy apple. Decent acidity in the taste, dry, tart apple - dry, slightly musty, but classy. Medium slick body, mild carbonation but good liveliness, slightly sour and acid finish. I liked it a lot - tart and dry.

UPDATED: JAN 24, 2009 2009-01-16. Yellow body with a foamy white head that fades to nothing. Sweetish aroma, light appley fruit. (6+) Flavour has sweetish apple middle but finishes a bit tart and quite dry. Average palate. Decent, simple cider. 7/3/7/3/14 - 3.4 Bottle from Premier, Halifax

March 2007. Bottle, approximately 8-10 months old. Very pale yellow, with a light white ring. Dry wine like aroma, tart apples. Flavour is fairly acidic, pleasantly tart apple flavours. Average cider palate. Pretty solid, a bit more flavorful than their other offering.7/3/7/3/14 - 3.4
