Clear ruby red beer, small off-white head, unstable, dissipates immediately, non adhesive. Aroma: bit seet, ripe red fruit, cherries, caramel, mocha, bit dusty, alcohol. MF: quite some carbon, medium to full body. Taste: caramel, bitter, some dark chocolate, ripe red fruits. Aftertaste: bitter, cocoa powder, alcohol warming the throat, grains, dry ending.

Cuivrée/brune, pas de col.
Arôme caramel, malté, pointe d’épice et un léger bouquet de fruits noirs le tout présentant ce profile typique de houblons nobles européens.
Palais est malté chocolaté, carapils, épice, café et torréfié le tout pour une effervescence moyenne. Amertume reste typique belge pour des houblons du même style procurant un palais distinct des houblons Hallertau et prenant plus avantage d’un palais fleuri et fruité.

Sampled at OBER Kerstbierfestival 2012. Apparently an Abbey Dubbel according to the description... Dark red-brown color, small white to off-white head. Smell and taste malts, caramel, sweetness and some coriander. Taste malts, sweet malts, caramel, slightly herbs or spices again. Ok beer.
