3.1 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 12/20
sample from bottle at 2014 houston big brew fest. Golden with small head. Mildly sweet with a surprisingly dull apple flavor. It just needs a bunch more flavor. Underwhelming

2.5 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 9/20
Reviewed from notes.
This was from a growler from Breeze In (Lemon Creek/Juneau, AK).
Thanks Aaron for bringing this over.
This was poured into a wine glass for me.
The appearance was a slightly a glossy/hazed over orange to yellow color with a vast array of bubbly carbonation seen rising.
The smell had some tart and sour apples and then a light bitter citrus/floral sort of acidic aroma.
The taste was tart, sour and acidic with a tinge of citrus coming through. Vinous - yup that too.
On the palate, this one was exceptionally dry. It sat fairly light and construed a chilled dried grape-like pummeling over my tongue.
Overall, this was a pretty dry cider. Would I have it again? Probably not.

Bottle. Pours a a clear pale yellow with visible carbonation with no head whatsoever. Aroma is full of dry apple with a bit of earthiness, tartness and some sweetness underlying. Flavor has a good amount of slightly tart apple with a hint of sweetness and a dry finish.

3.7 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 14/20
Tenth rating, yesss! Bottle. Hazy deep golden amber color, few coaxable large bubbles that settle to an edge. Aroma of fleshy apple, pear. Taste is smooth lightly tart fruit with a lightly toasted edge. Tasty.

3.2 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 14/20
Pale, light champagne color. Very thin white ring head. Sweet apple aroma. Very dry somewhat bitter red apple peel flavor. Palate is cool, sharp, tannic and has an uncharacteristic bite. Very light bodied and somewhat watery. A good cider due to the lack of the common kiddy sweetness found in these things. Different. Eye-opening in some way.

Sharp and assertive mouthfeel without being overcarbonated. Mildly sweet fresh apple character. Sharp tart finish. Really enjoyed this.
