Nestled at tbe base of the Cascade mountain range is one of the most fertile and productive growing regions in the world -- the Yakima Valley. This valley grows fifty percent of the apples in the United States and seventy percent of the hops. Tieton Cider Works Yakima Valley Dry-Hopped Cider is a tribute to the part of the world that we call home. Our fresh pressed juice comes from apples grown in the Pacific Northwest. We created a unique method of dry-hopping that juice with our custom blend of three hops. Pair this cider with chilis and salsa, sweet or spicy flavors inspired from all parts of the globe, or simply a ripe Brie.

500 ml bottle. Served in a pint glass, the cider pours a clear straw gold color with about a quarter inch white head that fizzled away quickly. Pretty much no lacing at all. Aroma is nice, the cider smells like green and sweet apples, and some floral/grassy hops. I think the taste is pretty much just like the aroma, but there’s some mustiness and apple skin flavor noticeable. Mouthfeel/body is medium, it’s coating with a low/moderate amount of carbonation. I thought this was a good cider, I’ll have to try some of their other ones now!

Bigger part of a 500ml bottle. Pale, clear yellow color. Minimal ring of off-white head, no lace. Great bright citrus aroma, definitely get some of the hop there. Some mild lemon, a bit of earthiness to it, apple peel, and apple. Medium body. Smooth, crisp lighter carbonation. Nice more dry finish. Satisfying light bitterness. Satisfying, balanced cider. Fantastic to enjoy with my lamb meatballs.

Bottle at CiderWISE, pours a clear blonde with a small white head. Nose is dry and floral, with dry apples and a musty quality. Flavour is quite musty, with earthy notes, medium sweet apples, and light floral hops. Very well-balanced. The musty floral notes are situated well and in gold harmony with the apples. Nice.

Bottle. Brassy gold, maybe an orangey tint, very low carbonation, nearly still. Apples and light funk, with a faint herbal character. Not really any bitterness. Not bad, but not hoppy.

On tap. Has an odd oaky smoothness, and a slightly more bitter aspect to it than most ciders, but it’d honestly be hard to tell it was dry hopped without being told so. A better than average cider, though.

Too much like apple juice. Really couldn't taste the hops. Not great as a cider. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Pours golden with slight bubbles for head. Aroma is dry and apple/wine dominated. Flavor is dryer than most ciders with just enough sweetness to balance and a light tart edge. Dry hopping gives it a nice boost to the dry side of this.
